The Process
Thank you for considering Anthony's Classic Pool Renovations, LLC. for your
pool /spa renovation project. We want to assure you that our crews will do
their best to make this an enjoyable experience for you. In order for you to
know what to expect during remodeling, the following are the steps that will be
taken to complete a typical renovation project.
FREE
Estimate We are happy to visit your site and inspect your pool and
prepare a free estimate. The estimate will include pricing, details and a
project timeline. |
Phase 1:
Preparation The first phase of your renovation project is draining
your pool / spa and preparing the site for our workers. After the pool is
drained, we inspect the pool and make inventory of needed repair items. |
Phase 2:
Interior Chip-out & Tile Removal Once the pool is drained the
interior surface is pressure washed to remove any contaminants and oils. We will
then chip-out the interior surface by jackhammer and air chisels. If you chose
to replace your tile the existing tile will be removed at this time. |
Phase 3:
Construction, Repair & Tile This phase includes any repairs
needed to include new drains, skimmers or metal stair units. New tile will be
installed and any other water features. Care is taken to repair all hollow areas
and then perform the final preparation for the plaster process. |
Phase 4:
Plaster Application The process of the interior surface application
varies depending on the surface you select. After a bond coat, the Pebble,
Plaster, or Quartz is applied by a pressurized spray system. The finishing touch
is then done by hand trowel to a smooth the finish. If you chose pebble the
following work day the surface is acid washed to reveal the pebbles natural
beauty.

Phase 5:
Water Fill This phase consists of filling the pool / spa with
clean water. This takes approximately 8-30 hours depending on the size of your
pool / spa. |
Phase 6:
Start-up The start-up phase consists of adding all necessary
chemicals to balance the water and mechanically start-up all pumps. This phase
will also be the time to instruct you on the operation and maintenance of any
new equipment and surface care. | |
